220 Tuesday April 21st. ,1914. Board met in regular session at 7:45 P.M. All members present. Declaratory hearing given on improvement Resolution No. 1. 302 for grade, . curb and vel k on Francis Street from First Alley South of Sorin Street to Madison Street. Innthe City of South Bend, Indiana. In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed. Tj,e Board therefore find in each and every case of said improvement that the benefits to the piZoperty and to the r;+,Er .,� c�„+�, n� are equal to the esti- mated cost of said,,imp,rovement and the same are hereby in all things ratified,con- firmed and approved. Resolved, that notices be published on the R3rd. day of April,1914 and on the 30th. day of Apri 1.,1914 in the South Bend Daily Tribune- stating that this Board will receive bids for the construction of said improvements up to 10:00 A.M. on the 12th., day of May,1914. The Board reserves the right to reject any or All bids. Declaratory hearing given on improvenent Resolution No. 301 for pavement / on Sherman Avenue from 14ic'higan Avenue to South end of said -Street. In the City of V South Bend, Indiana. In the above matter all action was deferred until Tuesday April 2Sth.2 1914 at 7:45 P.M. Declaratory nearing given on improvement Resolution No. 303 for grade, / curb and walk on Meade Street from Washington Street to Bertrand Street. In the City ,YJ of South Bend, Indiana. In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed.. The Board therefore find in each and every case in said improvement that the benefits to the property and to the City of South Bend are equal to the estimated cost of said improvement and the same are hereby in all things ratified confirmed and approved. Resolved, that notices be published on the 23rd. day,of April,1914 and on the 30th., day of Apri1,1914 in the South Bend Daily "ribu 6 ; stating that this Board will receive bids for the construction of said improvements up to 10:00 A.I. on the 12th. , day of ?day, 1914. Gentlemen: In the matter of bids for the improvement of the roadway of Cedar Street from Emerick Street to Eddy Street, according to the improvement Resolu- tion No. 295. 1914 . I hereby report that I nave tabulated tine same and find that the bid of Rankert and Eggleston is the lowest and best for Asphaltic Con- crete and the bid of C.
