All members present. <br />Declaratory hearing given on improvement Resolution No. 1. 302 for grade, . <br />curb and vel k on Francis Street from First Alley South of Sorin Street to Madison <br />Street. Innthe City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were <br />filed. Tj,e Board therefore find in each and every case of said improvement that <br />the benefits to the piZoperty and to the r;+,Er .,� c�„+�, n� are equal to the esti- <br />mated cost of said,,imp,rovement and the same are hereby in all things ratified,con- <br />firmed and approved. <br />Resolved, that notices be published on the R3rd. day of April,1914 <br />and on the 30th. day of Apri 1.,1914 in the South Bend Daily Tribune- stating that <br />this Board will receive bids for the construction of said improvements up to 10:00 <br />A.M. on the 12th., day of May,1914. The Board reserves the right to reject any or <br />All bids. <br />Declaratory hearing given on improvenent Resolution No. 301 for pavement <br />/ on Sherman Avenue from 14ic'higan Avenue to South end of said -Street. In the City of <br />V South Bend, Indiana. <br />In the above matter all action was deferred until Tuesday April 2Sth.2 <br />1914 at 7:45 P.M. <br />Declaratory nearing given on improvement Resolution No. 303 for grade, <br />/ curb and walk on Meade Street from Washington Street to Bertrand Street. In the City <br />,YJ of South Bend, Indiana. <br />In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances <br />were filed.. The Board therefore find in each and every case in said improvement <br />that the benefits to the property and to the City of South Bend are equal to the <br />estimated cost of said improvement and the same are hereby in all things ratified <br />confirmed and approved. <br />Resolved, that notices be published on the 23rd. day,of April,1914 <br />and on the 30th., day of Apri1,1914 in the South Bend Daily "ribu 6 ; stating <br />that this Board will receive bids for the construction of said improvements up to <br />10:00 A.I. on the 12th. , day of ?day, 1914. Board of Public Works, <br />of the City of South Bend, Indiana,. <br />Gentlemen: In the matter of bids for the improvement of the roadway of Cedar <br />Street from Emerick Street to Eddy Street, according to the improvement Resolu- <br />tion No. 295. 1914 . I hereby report that I nave tabulated tine same and find <br />that the bid of Rankert and Eggleston is the lowest and best for Asphaltic Con- <br />crete and the bid of C.
