296 <br />Tuedday March 31st.,1914. <br />Board met in regular session at 7:45 P.M. All members present. <br />J Mr. Wilcoxen General Manager of the Chicago, Lake Shore and. South Bend <br />Railway Company, was present before the Board and submitted a blue print. of the - <br />proposed tracks on East La Salle Avenue at their barn. The Board took this matter <br />under consideration. <br />The City Civil Engineer reported favorably on the Petition fpr a sewer on <br />Campau St. from Walsh Street -to First alley east, and the Clerk was instructed to <br />prepare a resolution on the same and set for a hearing. <br />The City Civil_ Engineer reported favorably on the petition for the open- <br />e� ing of Francis Street from the First alley north of Miner Street to Sorin Street, and <br />the Clerk was . instructed by, the. Board to prepare a resolution on the same and set fo-r <br />a hearing. <br />Bondfor excavation in streets for the amount of One Thousand ($1,000600) <br />l Dollars signed by Alonzo J.-McKinley as principal and The Southern Surety Company of <br />St. Louis, Mo. as sureties, was approved by the Board. <br />The following communication with blue print . was :addressed to 'WK. S.Moere <br />City Engineer an Ile -submitted same to- the Board with his_ recommendation. <br />We desire to change our side track which enters the west end of our <br />✓ building,(located at Sample & Main Streets) from the main line of the Vandalic,. Layton, reported favorably on the Petition . <br />for the placing of a light at the intersection of and Meade Streets. The <br />Board ordered a light placed at this point. <br />Contract the water connection of Ford Street under Improvement Resolu- <br />tion No. 299 was awarded t6L McGrath & Luther-, for the amount of ........ $404.00 <br />Contract for the water connection on St. Louis Street Boulevard <br />under improvement Resolution No. 294, was awarded to McGrath & Luther,for..$155.00 <br />Contract for. the sewer connections on Ford Street,under improvement <br />resolution No. 299, was awarded to Henry De Vos, for the amount of ....... $ 9.70 <br />City,Engineer reported favorably on the petition for a pipe sewer on. <br />Dayton Street from Witwer to the intersection of Bovaan Creek sewer at Hight Street <br />and from High Street to alley west of Miami Street. The Board instructed the Clerk <br />to prepare a resolution on the same. <br />
