All members present. <br />Application for the erecting of a billboard on Lots No. 22 and 23 in, <br />Ken.ts addition. on Michigan Avenue, was approved by the Board. <br />Petition filed with the Board for, the placing of street Tight at the <br />/ i,Itersection of' Lincoln. Street and Michigan Avenue. The same was read and referred to <br />the Street Commissioner for investigation,. <br />Petition filed with the Board for the placing of a street light at the <br />intersection of Blanch Street and Scott Street. The same was read and referredto the <br />Street Commissioner. <br />Petition filed with the Board foR the placing of crosswalks on Scott <br />Street at the intersection, of Blanch Street. The same was read and' referred to the Street <br />Commissioner. <br />Petition, filed with the Board for' a pavement on 1st. alley Vest of <br />Main. Street from. Marion Street to Navarre Street. The same was read and referred. to <br />the City Engineer for investigation.. <br />Petition filed with the Board for the placing of crosswalks in, River <br />Park. The same was referred to the Street Commissioner for investigation. <br />Renewal of Bond No. 997704 of Fred P. Futter for One Thousand ($1,000.00) <br />Dollars for excavation in this City was approved by the Board. <br />Renewal of Bond Nb. 0119478 of Staples & Ackerman for One Thousand <br />($l,000.uu)Dollars for excavation in this City, was approved by the Board. <br />Renewal of Bond <br />No. 975606 of Charles <br />F. Pave:y for One <br />Thousand ( 1,000.00) <br />Dollars <br />for excavation in, this <br />City was approved by <br />the Board. <br />Renewal of- Efoxd <br />No. 998948 of L. H. Webster for One <br />Thousand ( 1,000.00) <br />Dollars <br />for excavation in this <br />City was approved by <br />the Board. <br />Renewal of Bond <br />No. 0130135 of Charles <br />Bauman for One <br />Thousand (1, 000.00 ) <br />Dollars <br />for excavation in this <br />City was approved by <br />the Board. <br />The following release was approved by the Board, <br />The un.dersigxed, the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, <br />Indiana, hereby release Joseph P. Huber and the American Surety Company of New York <br />from further liability on aceoun.t of that certain excavation boned heretofore filed with <br />the City of South Bend, Indiana by the said Joseph P. Haber, as principal, and the <br />American, Surety Company of New York, as surety, hereby releasing and -canceling said <br />bond on account of gding out of business. <br />Dated at South Be►n.d,Indiana this 24th., day of March 1914. <br />E.M.
