J Gentlemen : - Regarding the attached petition for pavement on Sherman Avenue from. Michigan Avenu* to the south end of said street. I beg to report that I have in- vestigated the same and beg to report that the petition be granted. The cost Of the intersection will amount to about $650.00. a 'Very truly, W11A. S. THIS AGREE 1ENT,Made and entered into at the City of South Bend, County of St. Joseph, anD State of Indiana, by and between the City of South Bend, Indiana, by its Board of Public Works, party of the first part, and George W. Stewart and Samuel Sheets, partners, doing business under tre firm name and style Of Stewart, Sheets & Company, of the City of Vineennes, State of Indiana, party of the second part ,WITNESSETH:- r That, whereas, on the loth., day of 11arch,1914, tl`ie parties of the seeond part, by their written agreement, contracted with the party of the first pat part to build and construct a sheer wall for the protection of the Bowman Creek Trunk sewer at a point on the North side of the Lake Shore & 14ichigan Southern Railway Coicpany's culvert. And, w-bereas, the party of the first part desires to have con- structe -d, as apart of- 4941,id d proveersent described in said. contract executee?
