The hose reel and control panel shall articulate a minimum <br />of 180 degrees allowing the operator to work in any position <br />through the are. Articulation shall be hydraulically powered <br />and lock into operating position. Articulation hinge shall be <br />located on the curb side of the truck, A manufacturer's <br />certified document showinQ hose reel area coverage shall be <br />provided with bid packet. <br />The mounting of the hose reel shall not interfere when the <br />engine hood has to be opened for service/maintenance. Hose <br />reels that interfere, must be able to be moved out of the way <br />by means of an auxiliary power system, in case of <br />engine/hydraulic problems, <br />A heavy duty AUTOMATIC hose level wind guide will assist <br />the operator in placing the hose evenly on the reel. <br />The reel shall have a digital footage counter and a backup <br />manual footage counter, <br />The hose reel shall be hydraulically powered in both <br />directions. It must have a full complement of controls for <br />operatina the hydraulic motor incorporating a flow device to <br />regulate the rotational speed in both directions. <br />Manufacturer shall supply all additional equipment required <br />to make the hose wind properly on the reel, including hose <br />tensioning devises, if required. <br />Electrical <br />The entire electrical system shall be vapor sealed to <br />ES/,kO <br />System: <br />eliminate moisture damage to NEMA 4 (National Electrical <br />Manufacture Association) standards. <br />All electrical connections shall require no exposed wires or <br />terminals. <br />All light bulbs shall be shock mounted to eliminate bulb <br />failure. <br />All wiring shall be color coded and stamped to its function <br />and run in sealed terminal boxes. <br />Hydraulic <br />The hydraulic reservoir shall have a minimum 30 gallon <br />YES, NO <br />System- <br />capacity.
