A heat exchanger will be provided in the water system to cool <br />all hydraulic fluids on the unit, if required. <br />A monitor light shall be provided to indicate when designed <br />flow or pressure is exceeded. <br />Variable flow valve to adjust water flow without changing <br />engine RPM to be included. <br />The water system shall be designed to enable the operator to <br />turn water flow on/off at maximum psi and rpm without doing <br />harm to components. <br />Cold Weather <br />The system shall incorporate both a cold weather recirculation <br />0 <br />Protection: <br />system and an air purge system. <br />Low point drains shall be included throughout the water system <br />for complete cold weather draining. <br />Rotation Hose <br />The hose reel assembly shall be state of the art design. <br />f'-�E 0 <br />Reel: <br />The hose reel shall be mounted to assure adequate ground <br />clearance. <br />The hose reel capacity shall have a minimum 800' capacity of <br />I" I.D. sewer hose (2500 psi operating pressure; 7500 psi burst <br />pressure). <br />A 20' leader hose shall be supplied. <br />The hose reel shall be on the front of the truck along the center <br />line axis of the truck with the reel in its fixed position. <br />The hose reel and control panel shall articulate a minimum of <br />180 degrees allowing the operator to work in any position <br />through the arc. Articulation shall be hydraulically powered <br />and lock into operating position. Articulation hinge shall be <br />located on the curb side of the truck, A manufacturer's certified <br />document showing hose reel area coverage shall be provided <br />with bid packet. <br />The mounting of the hose reel shall not interfere when the <br />engine hood has to be opened for service/maintenance. Hose <br />reels that interfere, must be able to be moved out of the way by <br />means of an auxiliary power system, in case of <br />enginc/hydraulic problems. <br />A heavy duty AUTOMATIC hose level wind guide will assist <br />the operator in placing the hose evenly on the reel. <br />The reel shall have a digital footage counter and a backup <br />Ver. 2 — March 2018 <br />
