acceleration, entry into a designated mapped Action Zone or Geofence. As, a result,
more video is captured, freeing officers to focus on their jobs. This system can be
integrated with your CAD system to institute dispatch policy and provide you with
additional situational awareness tools.
• Gunshot Activates Recording: Automatic activation for gunshot detection turns on
BodyWorn for the officer and other officers in the vicinity, and protects transparency in
the moment, as a pre -recording is captured and stored. BodyWorn is, a GPS-enabled
device that automatically 'knows where it is' in real-fime--a combination that is
invaluable.
0 Secure, Immediate Wireless Upload to the Cloud: Video evidence uploads
immediately upon being taken, in an encrypted file format to a secure cloud, resulting in
reliable evidence capture and enhanced situational awareness between the officer and
dispatch. This, eliminates the added risk of losing video evidence by waiting until end of
a shift to connect to a docking station.
• Smart Waypoints: A body worn camera's embedded storage is typically the least
secure location within the video data ecosystem. Utility moves video data as fast as it is
collected (in real-time, on -the -fly) from the, BodyWorn TM camera to available secure
storage Smart Waypoints within Utility's provided EcoSystem. This eliminates the need
for docking stations, their cost and risk of data loss, and protects ch6in-of-custody.
• Real -Time Communications: Utility's BodyVVorn TM camera can communicate time
sensitive information including BOLO, Amber, Silver and Officer Down alerts to the
officer and to dispatch. Using the real-time, map -based situational awareness tools can
improve officer safety and save lives.
• Functional Fusion to the Uniform: Traditional clip -on cameras bounce, are bulky and
fall off. Utility's camera is built into the officer's uniform, is seamless, and reliably
captures video evidence
• Smart, Automatic Redaction Capability: Utility's redaction for Body and In -Vehicle
Cameras address important privacy and FOIA concerns, but also allows the agency to
control and manage data storage costs. This cost savings can make all the difference,
affording the most value for dollars spent.
• Synchronized BodyWorn and In -vehicle video: The BodyWorn TM offers a future
pathway for a compatible, interoperable in -car video recording system, the Rocketlotm,
which seamlessly integrates into the same incident for Chiain-of-Custoldy and playback
review.
VVe look forward to working with the City of South Bend Board of Public Works, and the South
Bend Police Department,, to make your Body Camera and In Car Video Camera Project a
resounding success!
Sincerely
Te:M, 2Davis, President and Chief Executive Officer
Utility Associates, Inc.
trol@utilty.corn
404-769-0654
WMIN .
