Continued. <br />City Attorney reported an extention of ti.rie on Building permit granted <br />Max Livingston November 6th..1913, and the sane was approved. by the Board,as follows:-- <br />EXTE SION OF BUTLDTNCT. PEOUT. <br />Office of the Board of Public Works,, South Bend, Indiana, No. 9322. <br />Whereas on November 6th.,1913, the Board of Public Works of the City <br />of South Bend, Indiana, by its Clerk, granted permission to Max Livingston for the erection <br />and re -modeling og a brick building of the dimensions of 66x90 at No. 315-317-319 So. <br />Michigan Street, in said City at an estimated cost of 15000.00 for a period of sixty days. <br />And whereas said Max Livingston has petitioned said board to extend the <br />time of said permit for a period of ninety days more. <br />Therefore, said permit to erect and re-modele said building is extended <br />for another period of ninety days. <br />And said Max Livingstou, in performing said work is granted the per- <br />mission to use a portion of the sidewalk and street for the storing of building materials <br />upon the following conditions: That in front of said building and next to ,:he property <br />line, he shall safely and securely house and cover a portion of the sidewalk, eight feet <br />with in such a manner that the use of.said sidewalk shall obe free for the passage of pedes- <br />trians and in event that said portion of the sidewalk is so housed and covered, said <br />Livingston shall have the further ri--At to use the remaining portion of the sidewalk, being; <br />e 3_,;.ht feet in width, and a portion o±' the street eight feet in width in front of said. <br />building and, next to the curb,, for the purpose of storing building materials. <br />And if said Livingston should dal and refuse to so house and cover said <br />sidewalk as above set forth, then lie shall have no right or permit whatever to use any por- <br />tion of the sidewalk or street for the purpose of placing building materials thereon. <br />November 6th.21913. <br />This agreement is attached to and made a part of said permit executed <br />Authorized by the Board of Public Works the 16th., day of January,1914. <br />ARTHUR P.
