POLICE DEPARTMENT CONVD. <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />MAY 22nd., 1933 <br />Special Police Commission issued on the 27th., day cf M '1933, to <br />Hugh Wine, 516 E. vVenger Street' was cancelled on his request. <br />Special Police Bond on Anton Tschida with The American E Agency <br />'Insurance Company, dated April lst., 1933, was approved and ordered file <br />M <br />FIRE DEPARTITNT. , <br />11 <br />Chief Knoblock reported the activities of his department for the past week. <br />Clerk of the Board presented a letter from the Hamilton Rubber Manufacturing <br />Company, advising the Board that they declined their order for 500 feet of <br />fire hose for the reason that the terms relative to the payment of said <br />hose, we e - Pe not agreeable. A motion was made by Mr. Gqdacz, seconded by Yr. <br />Trost and unanimously carried that the order for the 'above mentioned 500 <br />feet of fire hose be given to the Johnson Rubber Products Corporation. <br />The application of Louis A. Kasa was <br />ap7oved and ordered placed on file. <br />ELECTRICAL DEP1k.RTT,, <br />William F. Qualls, Superintendent, presented. weekly time sheets and sane <br />were examined and ordered filed. S Superintend ent reported the activit- <br />ies of his DePartmnt for the past .A,eek. <br />Clerk of the Board presented a receipt f ram the County Treasurer in the <br />sum of $13.50 covering damages to a traffic signal at the corner of Lincoln <br />Way East and Carroll Street. S receipt represented. settlement paid b_ y <br />The Grand T Terminal =are House Company. <br />WEIGHTS AND MEASURES. <br />nP.--Weekly report of City Sealer, Charles J. Burns, was examined and ordered <br />filed. <br />DOG POUND. <br />Clerk of -the Board presented a receipt from the County Treasurer in the <br />sum of $5.00 covering the sale of the junked truck from the Dog, Pound <br />Department, as authorized by the Board on Il <br />1 _y 15th:, 1933. r <br />Meeting adjourned at 11-45 A.
