<br />Board met in regular hearing at 7:45 P.M. Mr. Lambert absent.
<br />,,-Hearing given on 'Improvement Resolution No. 255. for Pipe sewer on Cleveland, Avenue from
<br />Van Buren Street to Vassar Avenue, under Improvement Resolution No. 255. In the,City of
<br />South Bend, Indiana.
<br />In theabove matter no remonstrators appeared; and no remonstrances were
<br />filed. The Board therefore find in eachand every, case in said improvement that the bene-
<br />fits to the property and to the City of South Bend are equal to t e estimated cost of said
<br />improvement, and the same are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved.
<br />,Resolved further, that notices be published on the 2$th., .day of July
<br />1913 and on the 4th, day of August, 1913 in the South Bend Dq,il.y News -Times, stating that
<br />this Board will receive bids for the construction of said improvement up to:10,:0.0�A.M. on
<br />the 15th. , day of August,1913 ark The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids

<br />Resolution No. 251. In the City of South Bend, Indiana.
<br />In the above matter no remonstrators appeared, but a remonstrance was
<br />filed. The Board after due consideration decided to defer all action until Friday
<br />August lst.1,1913. at 10:00 A.M.
<br />Hearing given on Improvement Resolution No. 294 for grade, curb and walk on Dale Avenue,
<br />from Dayton Street to Bowman Street. In the City of South Bend, Indiana.
<br />In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances
<br />were filed. The Board therefore find in each and every case in said improvement that the
<br />benefits to the property and to the City of South Bend are equal to the estimated cost of
<br />said improvement, and the same are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved.
<br />Resolved further that advertising for bids be deferred until after
<br />January 15t h. 1,1914.
<br />Hearing given on Vacation resolution No. 21 for the purpose of vacating the'following
<br />described property to -wit:- An alley between Lots 50,51 ,52 and 53 Kauffman's Place Addition.
<br />In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were
<br />filed. The Board therefore sustain all former action taken and declarl the above described
<br />property in all things vacated and this resolution in all things ratified, confirmed. and ap-
<br />proved.
<br />Resolved further that the City Engineer be instructed to prepare a roll
<br />showing awards of damages and assessments of benefits to all parties and properties interests
<br />in the above matter.
