This is EXHIBIT A, consisting of pages, referred to in and part of the Agreement between Owner and Engineer for Professional Services dated 04/24. 2018. Engineer's Services Article 1 of the Agreement is supplemented to include the following agreement of the parties. Engineer shall provide Basic and Additional Services as set forth below. PART 1— BASIC SERVICES Parking Lot Access improvements: This project is to include improvements to the existing entry and egress locations on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Wayne Street which may include removal of the existing attendant booths, adding three lanes (two 11'-6" outside lanes and one 10' center turn lane), divider islands, new ticket dispensers/card readers with dectector loops, signage, new concrete curbs, access gates, and movable barricades. Facility Exterior Signs: This project includes replacement of two exterior freestanding signs. The existing sign marquee, located at the northeast corner of MLK and Jefferson Boulevard is to be replaced with a double faced electronic sign. The existing sign located at the northeast corner of MLK and Wayne Street is to be replaced with a new backlit sign. Minor landscape improvement may be required to enhance the aesthetics around these signs. New Marquee Sign on North Face of Skyway Bridge: This task includes the design of a new marquee sign, approximately 3'x7' in size, and is to be installed on the north side of the skyway over Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive visible to south bound traffic. Electrical services and communication data connections will need to be determined during the design process. Approval of the sign size and location will need to be acquired prior to installation The Scope of Services for this project is as follows: A1.01 Topographic Survey A. Topographic Survey Activities: Based on discussions with the Owner, the Engineer will conduct topographic survey services that will include the parking lot entrances off of MLK and Wayne Street. The Engineer will provide the following information as it pertains to the survey tasks: 1. Establish both horizontal and vertical control throughout the project limits utilizing conventional survey equipment. 2. Request utility locates per the Indiana 811 Call Before You Dig call center. Please note that the utilities that will be marked by this company do not include any private utilities. Should private utilities exist within the project limits it may be necessary to contact a private utility locating company to have these lines marked in the field. Fees associated with a private utility locating company are provided as an Allowance, as identified in Exhibit C.
