This is EXHIBIT A, consisting of pages, referred to <br />in and part of the Agreement between Owner and <br />Engineer for Professional Services dated 04/24. 2018. <br />Engineer's Services <br />Article 1 of the Agreement is supplemented to include the following agreement of the parties. <br />Engineer shall provide Basic and Additional Services as set forth below. <br />PART 1— BASIC SERVICES <br />Parking Lot Access improvements: <br />This project is to include improvements to the existing entry and egress locations on Martin Luther King Jr. <br />Boulevard and Wayne Street which may include removal of the existing attendant booths, adding three <br />lanes (two 11'-6" outside lanes and one 10' center turn lane), divider islands, new ticket dispensers/card <br />readers with dectector loops, signage, new concrete curbs, access gates, and movable barricades. <br />Facility Exterior Signs: <br />This project includes replacement of two exterior freestanding signs. The existing sign marquee, located at <br />the northeast corner of MLK and Jefferson Boulevard is to be replaced with a double faced electronic sign. <br />The existing sign located at the northeast corner of MLK and Wayne Street is to be replaced with a new <br />backlit sign. Minor landscape improvement may be required to enhance the aesthetics around these signs. <br />New Marquee Sign on North Face of Skyway Bridge: <br />This task includes the design of a new marquee sign, approximately 3'x7' in size, and is to be installed on <br />the north side of the skyway over Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive visible to south bound traffic. Electrical <br />services and communication data connections will need to be determined during the design process. <br />Approval of the sign size and location will need to be acquired prior to installation <br />The Scope of Services for this project is as follows: <br />A1.01 Topographic Survey <br />A. Topographic Survey Activities: <br />Based on discussions with the Owner, the Engineer will conduct topographic survey services that <br />will include the parking lot entrances off of MLK and Wayne Street. <br />The Engineer will provide the following information as it pertains to the survey tasks: <br />1. Establish both horizontal and vertical control throughout the project limits utilizing <br />conventional survey equipment. <br />2. Request utility locates per the Indiana 811 Call Before You Dig call center. Please note that <br />the utilities that will be marked by this company do not include any private utilities. Should <br />private utilities exist within the project limits it may be necessary to contact a private utility <br />locating company to have these lines marked in the field.
