Appendix "E" is revised as follows: <br />Project Name: Intersection Improvement Roundabout <br />Corby Boulevard I Ironwood Drive 1 Rockne Drive <br />Des. No.: 1600074 <br />Modify Paragraph 1: <br />Project Description: This project consists of intersection improvement and traffic <br />signal modernization with installation of new curbs, storm drainage, pavement, approaches, incidental <br />resurfacing, and other pertinent work. Road construction will be begins approximately 650 feet south of the <br />intersection at the north Country Club Lane intersection and continues north approximately 650 feet to east <br />leg of Rockne Drive. Approximately 600 feet of improvements will occur to the west along Rockne Drive <br />and Corby Boulevard and approximately 350 feet east along Corby Boulevard. Sidewalks will be <br />reconstructed where they currently exist and upgraded for ADA compliance in accordance with INDOT <br />policies and standards. Collected storm water will be piped below grade 3 Sin^ either infiltration, detention <br />and,lerviath overflow infe existing GOrn bin P-MA9,r—in existing right of way to a new retention facility at a <br />location to be determined. <br />Modify Paragraph 4: <br />The proposed typical section will consist, at a minimum, of two 12 feet 11-foot travel lanes with <br />sheulders/parking and straight face curb for the full project length to existing widths. Pavement width <br />variations are expected at the roundabout intersection to the extent necessary based on INDOT design <br />criteria. A five (5) foot sidewalk is proposed where present with grassed parkways where possible. Existing <br />roadway vertical profile shall be reused to the extent possible for project areas exceeding INDOT minimum <br />vertical grade requirements. <br />Modify Paragraph 6: <br />Public road approaches and private drives shall be reconstructed consistent with the new curb construction <br />and vertical profile along the project length. No signal Signal modernization{s"} is expected to be required <br />as part of this project. <br />Modify Part B. Project Design Development: <br />2. Activities <br />h-. The consultant will perform landscape design and plan development services for theGeRter <br />area surrounding the proposed retention basin, <br />including fencing as required. Three conceptual planting plans fGF th9 GeAter Island will be <br />prepared. Conceptual planting plans will be presented in a fully rendered two dimensional <br />format and will illustrate design intent, color palettes, plant type and quantities.
