In the City of South Fend., Indien- . <br />Upon said hearing Attorney Edward Doran appeared representing <br />Joe Sole-ff and remonstrated against amount of damages allowed Joe Soloff, S. M. <br />Robinson appeared and remonstrated against amount of damages allowed. Horace G. <br />Miller, A. H. Schultz And Frank'Anderson appeared as Robinson's appraisers and stated <br />what they thought the property was damaged. <br />The Board after hearing all interested property owners aad parties <br />interested decided to defer hearing until Wednesday July llth., 1923 at 7:15 P.M. <br />Written remonstrance was filed`by Marion R. Mimmick against amount assessed her- ;lot <br />for benefits, also from Goo. W: Phillips against amount, df "benefits assessed 'h&s lot,. <br />Bearing had un improvement resolution No, 1210 for the pavement, <br />on Corby Street from St. Louis Blvd. to South Bend Avenue, in the City of South Bend, <br />Indiana. <br />In the above mat*6er remonstrators appeared and a written remonstrance <br />was filed, which was -later withdrawn on condition pavement is riot to be laid until <br />1924. The Board being; fully advised in the premises, decides that the bene- <br />fits to property liabel to be assessed for said improvement are equal to the estimates <br />cost of the same, as reported by the City Civil Enggineer, and thereupon takes final <br />action on said resolution as originally adopted 9,nd the same is hereby in all things <br />ratified, confirmed and approved. <br />Resolved that the advertising of this resolution for bids shall <br />be deferred until Tuesday March llth., 1924. . <br />Hearing had,on Improvement Resolution°No. 1207 for the grade, curb <br />and walk on Kessler Blvd. from Marquette Blvd. to Portage Heights Addition, in the City <br />of South Bend, Indiana. <br />Upon said hearing no remonstrators, appeared and no written remonstra' <br />strnace was filed. The Board being fully advised in the premises, decides that the <br />benefits to property liable to be assessed far said improvement are equal to the esti- <br />mated cost of the same, as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon takes <br />final action on .said resolution as originally adopted, and the same is hereby in all <br />things, ratified, confirmed and approved. <br />Resolved further, that notices be published on the loth. day of <br />July 1923 and on the 17th., day of July 1923, in the South Bend News Times and Tribune, <br />stating that this Board will receive bids for the construction of said improvement up to <br />10:00 A.M. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids. <br />
