Dear Sir The failure of the Elks Temple Association to. prepare ' for Widening and resurfacing of Colfax Avenue is delaying the work and seriously interfering with the Contractor carrying out his contract with the City. > The Board of Public Works objects to nvGiniaining any area -way or cellar underneath the pavemnt proper and requests that your Association prepare a brick or concrete .wall beyon# the line of the roadways without de lay, 'ghat the work may proceed.
