Continued. _ <br />On petition for asphaltic concrete pavement on Ohio SLtreet from <br />/Carroll Street, to High Street. <br />a June 5,1923. <br />This is not a majority petition. <br />Frederick J. Anderson <br />Cohcerning the improvwment of the roadway 'of Ohio Street from Carroll <br />Street to High Street in pursuance to Resolution No, 1137 they petition of freeholders <br />residing, oh said street is `considered,' anal the Aport of the City Engineer i received, as <br />all evidence is heard, and the Board finds that said petitioners to -not -constitute a <br />teajority df the freeholders residing on the street to be improved, and hereby -denies <br />said petition, And the City -Engineer reports that Reith-Riley C®.'is the lowest and best <br />bidder for the kind of pavement heretofore Adopted by the Board, and the Board so finds <br />and lets the contract for said improvement to h.im, and orders that skid improvement be <br />made with sheet asphalt using Mexican asphalt and all proceedings heretofore had in this <br />*atter are keroby confirmed and ratified. <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />Attested: - <br />Veronica C. HONER <br />Concerning the improvement of the roadway of Pulaski <br />Street from Division Street, to Ford Street pursuance to Resolution No. <br />with asphalt, asphaltic concrete, boncrete , bitulithic brick , this Board finds <br />that no pestition.has been filed ntih said Board by a majority* in number of the freeholder <br />residing on said street to be improved, requesting that it be improved with a differnet <br />kind of pavement than the kind herettofore adopted by the Board in its preliminary <br />order; and the City Engineer reports that the Williston Construction. Co. is the lowest <br />and best bidder for the kind of pavement heretofore adopted.by the Board, and the Board <br />find that the Williston -Construction Co, is the lowest and best bidder and hereby lets <br />Dhe contract for said improvement to them and orders that, said improvement be made with <br />Sheet asphalt using Mexican asphalt and all proceedings heretofore had in this matter <br />are hereby confirmed and ratified, <br />L.
