McInerny appeared before the Board in regard to <br />petition filed for the opening of Colfax A venue from Eddy Street to Sunnyside Ave <br />Also paving of Suanyside Avenue from Washington A venue to La Salle Avenue. <br />The Board approved of placing of switches at intersections <br />for Electric lights for Safety Board. A list to be submitted. <br />The Board ordered all bunks_ in the Coll Rooms in the City Jail <br />to be repaired. <br />Petition received -for sewer on Oakside Street from Michigan <br />Street to Fellows Street, Resolution ordered, <br />-Building Commissioners report of 1923 approved by the Board. <br />The City Engineer rude following reports on petitions for <br />changes -of types of materials:- <br />On Wayne Street from St. Lot{is Blvd, to Eddy Street. <br />June 51,1923. <br />This petition contains a majority of the resident freeholders. <br />F. J. Anderson, <br />Concerning the improvement of th91isgraRNS'J*ne*rWayne Street <br />from St, Louis Blvd. to Eddy Street in pursuance to Resolution. No. 1129 the petition <br />of freeholders residingoon*said street is considered, and the report of the City <br />Eng veer is received and all evidence is -heard, and the Board of Public Works finds <br />that said petitioners consitute a majority in number of the freeholders residing upon <br />said street to be improved, that said petition is sufficieat and it is therefore considers <br />and adjudged that said improvement be made with Concrete the kind of-pavement'requested <br />in said petition; and the City Engineer reports that Reith-Riley Construction Co. is the <br />lowest and best bidder for said pavement, and the Board so finds , and;lets the con- <br />tract for said improvement to his, and orders that said improvement be made with <br />Concrete and all proceedings heretofore had in this matter are hereby confirmed and <br />Mtif ied. <br />Ti.
