" The Board 'reserves the 'right to re ject any and all bids: The. City Engineer submitted the list; of property owners in the. matter of the appropriation of certain property under Condemnation Resolution Ro 69 for -the Widening of Follows Street from Division -Street to a point 11-4 feet south of Division ,Street. as shown in losoiution No. 69 on Page 616 Record No. 10 of the Boardof Works records. This list includes the names of the owners and holders of property.and of interests therein sought to be taken or beneficially or injuriously affected, and the description of the several pieces of property whin is affected by the said appropriatdon proceedings Thereupon the Board proceeded to award the damages sustained and to assess the benefits accruing to each pierce of property upon said list, It was thereupon, upon motion duly made and seconded and unanift- ously adopted, resolved &hat said list, together with the amounts of benefits and damages and net damages and net benefits therein set forth as tothe several parcels of -land be adopted and thatr the respective amount of benefits contained in said list be and are hereby assessed against the several tracts of land as specifically sat forth in said list, and that the respective amounts of damages contained in the said list be and are hereby awarded to the several tracts of land specifically set forth in said lists and that the net benefits and net damages as the case may b ;be as to the respective tracts of land, contained.1n said list are hereby awarded or assessed, as the case may be as to the said several tracts of land. The Board hereby further sets off the benefits and damages each against -the other where both benefi-ts and damages are assessed against the same piece of.property, tract of land or interest, and hereby fixes said respective net benefits as:the amount that shall be paid by the respective owners as benefits and further hereby fixer the respective net damages as to the several tracts as the amount that shall be paid to the owners of the respective tracts as damages. Thereupon, upon motion duly made and seconded and unanimusly adopted the 27th. day of June 1923 at 7:15 P.M. was fixed as -the day on which - r this Board will receive or hear remonstrances from perens with regard to the amount of their respective awards or assessments, and the Clerk of this Board was instruct ad to prepare and'eause to be duly and legally given, notices to the amounts of eah each parce-i of property, showing the amount of the assessments or award, with a description of the property affected and the date of said hearing, Now -resident notice to be publshed on the 26th. day of May 1923 2nd. dad' of Juke• 1923' arid' eh' %hie 9th. day of -dune 1923 in the South Bend News Times ribuae, stating that a hearing will be had on the above mentioned roil 'June '., 1.5 at 7:15 P.M.
