Wednesday March 28th., 1923, Continued, Petitions were filed and resolutions ordered as follows: - Pipe sewer on Cherry Street from Division Street, to Lake Shore & Michigan Southern Ry.'Co. Petition reeeeed read and placed on file for sewer on St. Vincent Street from Stanfield Street to Notre Dame Avenue. Resolutions were adopted as follows: - COPY OF CONDEMNATION RESOLUTION NOi73.1923. Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South.Bend, Indiana: That, the following described property be appropriated -for the use of said City: A strip of land four (4) feet.in width, two (2) feet on each side of the following described line: - Beginning at a apoint in the worth line of Mishawaka Avenue; one hundred four and five tenths (104.5) feet east of the east line of Emerson Avenue produced north, and running thence north parallel with the east line of said Emerson Avenue produced,, a distance of three hundred seventy eigRht and three tenths (378,3) feet, thence on a curve to the right with a radius of Fifty (50) feet, angle of intersection 470 a distance of fifty seven (57) feet+, thence vn a tengent N. 47° E. a d3,stance of four hundred sixty two and eight tenths (462.8) feet, thence with a curve to the right with a radius of fifty (50) feeta distance of thirty (30) feet, thence on a tangent N. 82° E. a distance of four hundred sixty and five tenths (460.5) feel,, thence on a curve to the left, with a radius of.f iffy (50) feet a distance of seventy four (74) feet, thence north with an angle with present tangent of 820 to the left, a distance of twelve hundred (1200) feet; thence with an angle of 5° -25 t to the left a distance of ten hundred ninety five (1095) feet to g point in the intersection of the south line of Jefferson Boulevard and the center line of Harriet Street produced. Abso an easement on a strip of land twenty three (23) feet in width on each side of the above described strip of land which easement is for the purpose of use in the construction of1a trunk sewer on the first above described strip and for the purpose of use in keeping said trunk sewer in repair after constructed. The following described property may be injuriously or benetkiially affected by such appropriation: All the property lying within the following described lines. Jefferson Boulevard, Eddy Street, Mishawaka Avenue and Greenlawn Avenue. The purpose of such appropriation is The securing of sufficient land for the construction of a trunk sewer, and for the purpose of securing sufficient land to use in'tihe construction and maintenance of said trunk sewer, all of whi h is deeiled necessary by this Board. Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 30th. day of March 1923 and on the 6th. day of April 1923, in the South Bend Daily Tribune and News Times. ' This Board, at its office in the City Hall on the 25th. Say of April 1923 at 1:15 P.M. will hear and receive remonstrances from all persons interested in or affected by these proceedings.
