<br />Street, in the City. of South Bend, Indiana.
<br />Upon said hearing nomonstrators appeared and a written remonstrance -
<br />was tiled. And the Board being fully advised in the prozmtee, decides that the benefits
<br />to property liabe.l to be asse-ssed for said improvement are equal to the estimated
<br />cost of the same as reported by the City Civil Engineer,' an thereupon takes final action
<br />on said resolution as priginally adopted and the same is hereby in all things, rati,
<br />fied confirmed.and approved.
<br />Resolved further, that notices be published on the 30th. day of
<br />March 1923'and on the 6th, day ofApril 1923 in the South Bend News Times and Tribune,
<br />in said City,stating thmt this Board will receive bids for+the construction of said

<br />benefits to property 3iabel to -be assessed for said improvement are equal to the esti-
<br />mated cost, of. the same, as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon takes.

<br />things, ratified, confirmed and approved.

<br />Hearing had on resolution for pipe sewer on St. Peter Street
<br />from center of Miner Street to Cedar Street under Improvement Resolutio No. 1117
<br />In the City of South Bend, Indiana.
<br />In the above matter Mr. Collins and Mr. Shirk appeared and
<br />objected to this sewer going int not benefitted. The Board after hearing interested
<br />pparties present and upon advise of the City Engineer this resolution is hereby
<br />rescinded.
<br />Hearing had on improvement Resolution No.1110 for the pavement on
<br />the alley east of St. Joseph Street from Wayne Street, to 2nd. Alley East of Wayne
<br />Street in the City of South Bend Indiana.
<br />Uplan said hearing Atty. Rice appeared representing Retha Long
<br />property ow and objected to pavement being put in, but nowritten remonstrance was
<br />filed. The Board after hearing all parties pa:esent and being fully advised in the
<br />premises, decides that; the benefits to pnoperty liable to the assessed for said improve-
<br />ment are equal to the estimated cost of the same, as reported by the City Civil Engineer,
<br />an thereupon takes final action on said resolution`as originally adopted, and the same
<br />is hereby!in all things, ratified, confirmed and approved.
