Clearance shall be twelve and one-half.(12) feet <br />between the surface of the: street as fixed above and the superstructure <br />over said street; the grade of the approach of said street;north-from <br />the north line of the superstructure shall -be a•straight line until: it <br />intersects the present grade of Scott Street at the south line of Dunn <br />Street, and the grade of the approachfromthe south line of the super- <br />structure shall be a straight line until it -intersects the present grade - <br />of Scott Street at the north line of Ford Street. <br />I <br />Prairie Avenue: At the intersection of Prairie Avenue and the tracks <br />of said railroad, the surface of said Avenue, where it intersects the <br />tracks leading to the Studebaker Plant and to the team yard, shall be <br />depressed seven and forty nine hundredths (7.49) feet below the top of <br />the south rail of the west bound main track as now maintained, the <br />elevation of said south rail being 64.28 when referred to South Bend. <br />datum an&.149.49 when referred to New York Central datum. Clearance <br />shall be. twelve and one-half (12*) feet between the surface of the <br />avenue as fixed above and the superstructure of the tracks leading•to <br />the team yard and Studebaker plant. The grade of the approach of Said <br />Avenue north from :the north line of the superstructure carrying the <br />tracks to -the team_yard and Studebaker Plant shall be an ascending grade <br />of three (3) feet .to each one hundred (100) feet and the grade of the <br />approach south from the south line of the southerly superstructure 84all <br />be an ascending grade of three (8).feet to each one hundred (100).feet <br />until it intersects the present grade of Prairie Avenue except that <br />vertical curves -sixty (60) feet in length shall be provided at the upper <br />and lower ends of the approaches. That Prairie Avenue has been ins <br />creased in width tea (10) feet. south of the right of , gray of said rail- <br />road to 'a total width 0- seventy ,- (70) feet, and it.,'Isordered that ' said <br />Avenue be opened to a width of seventy (70) feet Across said right of <br />dray, and that'a subway shall be constructed for seid width of.seventy <br />(70) feat. <br />The'grade of Taylor Street:; which intersects Prairie Avenue, shall <br />be changed`, beginning at the grade of said Prairie Avenue as established <br />above: there shall bean ascending grade north of three (3) feet to <br />each one hundred (100) feet until it intersects the present grade of <br />- said Street, except that a vertical curve sixty (60) feet in length shall <br />be provided at the upper end of the approach. <br />ZaPayette Street._ At the iMers'ection of Zaf'ette street and the . <br />tracks of said railroad:, t_he .su ,oP of said street from a` point five ( 5)", <br />feet north of the north line off superstructure',to a point five (5) <br />feet south of.the south line of hA superstructuree shall be. depressed <br />one and fifty; one hundredths' (1,k) .feet below the fop' of the south rail <br />• <br />
