��� <br />REGULAR MEETING JUNE 29, 1981 <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works now wishes to take the <br />necessary action to make it possible for the Board, in the <br />future, to sell said parcels of real estate pursuant to <br />Chapter 14.5 of the Municipal Code of the City of South <br />Bend. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Public Works <br />of the City of South Bend, Indiana: <br />l.- That the parcels of real estate owned by the <br />city contained in the following list are not <br />necessary to the public use and are not set <br />aside by state or city law for public purposes: <br />Deed No. <br />1316 Hine St. 797 <br />106 N. Walnut St. 707 <br />103 -105 Carlisle St. 730 <br />1806 S. Jackson <br />(Homestead Property) - <br />1919 S. Catalpa <br />(Homestead Property) - <br />2. Byers, Clerk <br />RESOLUTION NO. 15, 1981, REFERRED TO MAYOR (PLACEMENT <br />OF TRASH CONTAINERS ON TREE LAWN AREAS) <br />Mr. Hill advised that, at the request of the Neighborhood Code <br />Enforcement Office, the Legal Department had drafted regulations <br />to provide certain hours for the placement of trash containers <br />on tree lawn areas in those places where alley pick -up was impossible. <br />He stated that the request had been referred to the Legal Department <br />on April 13, 1981. He made a motion to delay action on the resolu- <br />tion until such a time that the Mayor had an opportunity to discuss <br />the regulations with the Common Council, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski <br />and carried, <br />FILING OF PETITION FOR VACATION OF ALLEY (ST. JOSEPH'S HOSPITAL) <br />A petition signed by Mr. David C. Trew, Administrator for St. <br />Joseph's Hospital, was submitted for the vacation of the following <br />alley of record: <br />The north 9 feet of the south half of Lot 286 <br />in Cottrell's Addition to the Town of Lowell, <br />now a part of the City of South Bend. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and <br />carried, the petition was referred to the Engineering Department, <br />Community Development Department and the Area Plan Commission for <br />preliminary review and recommendation. <br />
