�� REGULAR MEETING JUNE 29, 1981 WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works now wishes to take the necessary action to make it possible for the Board, in the future, to sell said parcels of real estate pursuant to Chapter 14.5 of the Municipal Code of the City of South Bend. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: l.- That the parcels of real estate owned by the city contained in the following list are not necessary to the public use and are not set aside by state or city law for public purposes: Deed No. 1316 Hine St. 797 106 N. Walnut St. 707 103 -105 Carlisle St. 730 1806 S. Jackson (Homestead Property) - 1919 S. Catalpa (Homestead Property) - 2. That this Resolution shall immediately, upon its adoption, be submitted to the Common Council of the City of South Bend, pursuant to Chapter 14.5 of the Municipal Code of the City of South Bend. Byers, Clerk RESOLUTION NO. 15, 1981, REFERRED TO MAYOR (PLACEMENT OF TRASH CONTAINERS ON TREE LAWN AREAS) Mr. Hill advised that, at the request of the Neighborhood Code Enforcement Office, the Legal Department had drafted regulations to provide certain hours for the placement of trash containers on tree lawn areas in those places where alley pick -up was impossible. He stated that the request had been referred to the Legal Department on April 13, 1981. He made a motion to delay action on the resolu- tion until such a time that the Mayor had an opportunity to discuss the regulations with the Common Council, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, FILING OF PETITION FOR VACATION OF ALLEY (ST. JOSEPH'S HOSPITAL) A petition signed by Mr. David C. Trew, Administrator for St. Joseph's Hospital, was submitted for the vacation of the following alley of record: The north 9 feet of the south half of Lot 286 in Cottrell's Addition to the Town of Lowell, now a part of the City of South Bend. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the petition was referred to the Engineering Department, Community Development Department and the Area Plan Commission for preliminary review and recommendation.
