REGULAR MEETING MAY 11, 1981 <br />According to the recommendation submitted by Mr. Jahn, Bid Package #128, Pavement <br />Markings, would be re -bid since no -bids had previously been received. He recom- <br />mended the bids received for Bid Package #130, Aluminum Fabrication, Bid Package <br />#131, Flag Poles, and Bid Package #132, Quarry Tile, be rejected because of budget <br />limitations. Upon a motion made by Mr. <br />Mr. Hill and carried, the recommendation was approved <br />was denied. <br />Niedzwiecki, 608 McOmber, <br />River Bend Plaza be denied <br />?sses selling similar items <br />Kernan, seconded by <br />and the open air stand license <br />APPROVE RECOMMENDATION FOR ARTS AND CRAFTS FAIR ON RIVER BEND PLAZA <br />Mr. Kernan advised that Promotion Management Associates, 16710 Chicago Avenue, <br />Lansing, Illinois, had previously requested permission to conduct an arts and <br />crafts exhibit on River Bend Plaza on August 6 -7, 1981, or August 13 -14, 1981. <br />He states that the exhibit has the support of the downtown merchants.
