i <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />The start and finish area shall be on Huron Street <br />between Olive and Phillipa which will be blocked <br />to traffic. <br />APRIL 27, 1981 <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan and <br />carried, the recommendation was approved. <br />APPROVE AMERICAN DIABETES BIKE- A -THON - OCTOBER 4, 1981 <br />Mr. Ralph J. Wadzinski, Manager of the Bureau of Traffic and Light- <br />ing, recommended approval of the request of the American Diabetes <br />Association to hold its annual state -wide Bike -A -Thou on Sunday, <br />October 4, 1981 (with a rain date of October 11, 1981), utilizing <br />the South Bend bike route, provided that all participants in the <br />race obey all applicable traffic laws. Upon a motion made by Mr. <br />Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, the recommendation <br />was approved. <br />APPROVE ROAD RUN (BROADWAY CHRISTIAN PARISH) - OCTOBER 17, 1981 <br />Mr. Ralph J. Wadzinski, Manager of the Bureau of Traffic and Light- <br />ing, recommended approval of the request of the Broadway Christian <br />Parish to hold its 2nd Annual Human Race on Saturday, October 17, <br />1981, at a mutually- agreed time, subject to a route to be jointly <br />set up by the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, the Police Traffic <br />Division and the parish. It was noted that use of Rum Village Park <br />for conclusion of the race had been approved by the Park Board. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan and <br />carried, the recommendation was approved. <br />APPROVAL ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN -UP OF LOTS <br />A request from the Neighborhood Code Enforcement.Office was received <br />for permission to have city environmental crews clean the following <br />lots within the city: <br />Lot <br />S. <br />1630 N. Andrysiak recommended approval of the Excavation Bond <br />of Norman Harry Wiseman following his review of the Bond. Upon a <br />motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, <br />the Excavation Bond was approved. <br />FILING OF CERTIFICATES OF INSURANCE <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and <br />carried, the following Certificates of Insurance were filed: <br />
