REGULAR MEETING APPROVAL OF MARCH OF DIMES SUPERWALK APRIL 13, 1981 Mr. Ralph J. Wadzinski, Manager of the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, recommended favorably the request of the March of Dimes for its annual Superwalk to be held on Saturday, April 25, 1981, starting at 9:00 a.m., utilizing the same route as in previous years. It was noted that approval of the use of the various parks as requested had been given by the Park Board. The required Certificate of Insurance naming the City of South Bend as an additional insured was on file in the office of the Board. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the recommenda- tion and Superwalk were approved. APPROVAL OF TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICE Mr. Ralph J. Wadzinski, Manager of the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, recommended approval of the following traffic control device: Removal of No Parking and Revision to: 30- Minute Parking- 2821 West Sample Street Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the traffic control device was approved. APPROVAL OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN -UP OF LOTS A request from the Neighborhood Code Enforcement Office was received for permission to have city environmental crews clean the following lots within the city: 1422 West Washington 434 -436 South Warren 115 North Taylor 1022 Roosevelt 1522 Prairie 243 Paris 1006 Quimby 1814 South Oliver 1802 South Oliver Lot N. 1831 Olive 1501 W. Linden /301 N. Birdsell 1412 Lincolnway Way East 824 N. Johnson 1409 W. Indiana Rear 2001 Huey vacant lot Empty lot, 620 N. Hill 610 Harrison Lot N. 2106 Gertrude It was noted that property owners had lots and had failed to comply. Upon . seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the 1002 Fuerbringer 822 -8222 Frances 1805 S. Fellows 1122 E. Dubail 141 N. Chicago 625 E. Broadway 222 E. Broadway 1117 E. Bissell Empty lot W 1129 E. Bissell 2217 Bertrand 717 Cottage Grove 712 N. Sherman 1001 N. St Louis 203 E. Pennsylvania 1726 S. Taylor 509 S. Walnut been advised to clean up the a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, request was approved. APPROVAL OF CONTRACTOR'S BOND - WILLIAM STAFFO Mr. Ray S. Andrysiak recommended approval of the Contractor's Bond of William Stafford, effective April 13, 1.981. Upon a motion made by Mr. Hill, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, the Contractor's Bond of William Stafford was approved. APPROVAL OF HANDICAPPED PARKING PERMITS Upon a motion made by Mr. Hill, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, the following handicapped parking permits were approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's Office for issuance: Edith A.
