REGULAR MEETING FEBRUARY 16, 1981 ADDRESS CONDITION 629 -631 N. Hill St. Appliances 1621 Marine Litter, uncollected garbage & trash 1710 S. Michigan Uncollected garbage & trash 915 Lancaster Dr. Grocery cart in front yard, appliances, chair, washing machine It was noted that property owners had been advised to clean up the lots and had failed to comply. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the request was approved. APPROVAL OF HANDICAPPED PARKING PERMITS Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the following handicapped parking permits were approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's Office for issuance: Frances E. Moore, 1505 Liberty, Apt. 6, Mish. W. W. Lauterbach, 415 LaMonte Tr., S.B. Rosella A. Nichols, 19204 Waite Blvd. S.S. Thomas Severs, 712 E. Irvington, S.B. Abe Zoss, 208 S. Tuxedo, S.B. Anne K. Nelson, 3602 E. Edison Rd. Apt. 14, S.B. APPROVAL OF EXCAVATION BOND - B & B PLUMBING Mr. Ray S. Andrysiak recommended the approval of the Excavation Bond of Thomas Brittain, d /b /a B & B Plumbing. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the Excavation Bond was approved effective February 16, 1981. CANCELLATION OF EXCAVATION AND CONTRACTOR BONDS Mr. Ray S. Andrysiak, in a letter to the Board, indicated that he had reviewed the request to cancel the Contractor's Bond of Deszo Horvath and the Contractor's and Excavation Bonds of Ziolkowski Construction Company. He recommended that the bonds be cancelled as requested. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the Contractor's Bond of Deszo Horvath and the Contractor's and Excavation Bonds of Ziolkowski Construction Company were cancelled. FILING OF CERTIFICATES OF INSURANCE Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the following Certificates of Insurance were filed: Walsh & Kelly, Inc. Dutron Corp., Amsco Sales, W & K Equipment Co., Inc. City Awning of South Bend, 1700 Main Street Acme Shower Curtain Co., and Griffith, Indiana John C. and Evelyn Wagner 1731 S. Franklin Street South Bend, Indiana FILING OF STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT The reports indicated a total of seven outages for the period of January 24 through 26, 1981, and a total of two outages for the period of February 3 through 4, 1981. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, the reports were filed.
