REGULAR MEETING FEBRUARY 9, 1981 <br />INSTALL STOP SIGN - On the north and south drives of <br />Jackson Middle School, 5000 Miami. <br />INSTALL 1 HOUR PARKING - 2121 Miami <br />INSTALL NO PARKING PASSENGER LOADING ZONE - 930 S. 30th Street <br />INSTALL STOP SIGN On Fairington Circle at Miami Road. <br />APPROVAL OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN -UP OF LOTS <br />A'request from the Neighborhood Code Enforcement Office was received <br />for permission to have city environmental crews clean the following lots <br />within the city: <br />Address Condition <br />1239 -1241 W. Thomas Open excavation, dirt piles, litter, <br />demolition remains <br />702 N. St. Louis Unacceptable garbage and trash uncollected, <br />litter, furniture <br />1508 Leer Uncollected trash and garbage, open bags <br />It was noted that the property owners had been advised to clean up the <br />lots and had failed to comply. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, <br />seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the request was approved. <br />APPROVAL OF HANDICAPPED PARKING PERMITS <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, <br />the following handicapped parking permits were approved and referred to <br />the Deputy Controller's Office for issuance: <br />Jane D. Kauffman <br />52995 Highlands Drive <br />South Bend, Ind. <br />Samuel E. Bechtold <br />17545 Juday Lake Drive <br />South Bend, Ind. <br />Betty Jo O'Reilly <br />3615 Cooper Court <br />South Bend, Ind. <br />FILING OF CERTIFICATES OF INSURANCE <br />Dale M. Riedel <br />1311 S. 33rd Street <br />South Bend, Ind. <br />Sandra S. Biddle <br />930 Beale Street <br />South Bend, Ind. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, <br />the following Certificates of Insurance were filed: <br />Bud's Wrecker Service City Boards, Commissions and <br />1906 South Olive Departments <br />FILING OF STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT <br />The report indicated one outage for the period of January 21 through 24, <br />1981. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan and <br />carried, the report was filed. <br />APPROVAL OF CLAIMS <br />Chief Deputy Controller Michael L. Vance submitted Claim Docket No. 1636 <br />through No. 1952 and recommended approval. Upon a motion made by Mr. <br />Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the report was filed and <br />the claims approved. <br />
