REGULAR MEETING <br />SEPTEMBER 29, 1980 <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, <br />the above bonds were approved retroactively. <br />APPROVAL OF HANDICAPPED PARKING PERMITS <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, <br />the following handicapped parking permits were approved and referred <br />to the City Controller's Office for issuance: <br />1. Mrs. Frank J. Fahey (for 12 -year old <br />daughter Therese Ann) <br />3207 E: Corby <br />South Bend, Indiana 46615 <br />2. Dorothy Millbern <br />734 Park Avenue <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />APPROVAL OF CLAIMS <br />Chief Deputy Controller Michael L. Vance submitted Claim Docket <br />No. 17976 through 18528 and recommended approval. Upon a motion <br />made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the report <br />was filed and the claims approved. <br />APPROVAL OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN -UP OF LOTS <br />A request from the Environmental /Action Center was received for <br />permission to have city environmental crews clean the following <br />lots within the city: <br />ADDRESS <br />Falcon St. & Linden St. <br />818 S. Upon a motion made by Mr. McMahon, <br />seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the request was approved. <br />STATUS OF PRENCO OIL FACILITY <br />Mr. McMahon noted that the city's lease with Prenco for operation <br />of the soluable oil disposal facility on Riverside Drive expires <br />on September 30, 1980. He asked that the Board's attorney, Terry <br />Crone, make an inspection of the site with Engineer David Wells <br />and compile a list of those items that will need to be pursued <br />with Prenco in order to insure compliance with all terms of the <br />lease. Mr. McMahon stated that, as of an inspection conducted last <br />week, it appeared that some liquid material in storage drums needed <br />to be disposed of. <br />
