will stay open as long as possible. <br />3. The irrigation systems have been winterized. Snow mould applications have been done. <br /> Tee markers have been removed for the winter. <br />4. The sand trap renovation program planning is on going. Erskine traps will be reshaped, <br />and possibly adding one more. Elbel will have eleven removed and the remaining will be <br />redone. Eight new traps will be added. <br />5. Mr. Nowacki is working with Peerless Midwest regarding the issues with the wells at <br />Elbel. <br />6. There is a problem with nitrate levels at the City pumping station at Erskine. They rise <br />during the months of June, July, and August. Fertilizer release times were slowed this <br />year, but didn’t affect the levels. This will continue to be investigated with the Water <br />Works. <br /> <br />XI.Comments by Development Director <br /> <br />1. Mr. Payton informed the Board regarding the Park Foundation Board. They have <br />approved the by laws, articles of incorporation, and Board policy. Board governance will <br />be considered at the next meeting. The articles of incorporation will be filed with the <br />Secretary of State. <br />Mr. Goodrich asked what the role of the Park Board would be with the Foundation <br />Board. Director St. Clair explained that the primary function of the Foundation is fund <br />raising. It has been discussed having a nonvoting member of each board on the other <br />board to facilitate communication. <br />2. The new activity guide will be out soon. It will cover a six month period. <br /> <br /> <br />XII.Comments by the Assistant Recreation Director <br /> <br />1.
