REGULAR MEETING <br />RIVER BEND PLAZA REQUEST APPROVED <br />319 <br />NOVEMBER 20, 1978 <br />Michele Dobski, Director of River Bend Plaza, submitted the <br />application of the Dickinson Middle School to sell fruitcakes <br />on the Plaza on November 23. The Health Department and the <br />City insurance carrier have reviewed the request and have no <br />objections to the sale and Ms. Dobski recommended the application <br />favorably. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Mullen <br />and carried, the request was approved. <br />REQUESTS TO PURCHASE CITY -OWNED LOTS <br />The Board received a request from C. Robert Williams, 1616 S. St. <br />Joseph Street, to purchase a city -owned lot at 201 E. Dubail and <br />a request from Linda Jerdon, 520 W. Madison, to purchase city -owned <br />property adjacent to that address. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, <br />seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, the requests were filed and <br />referred to the Department of Parks, Redevelopment, Community <br />Development, Engineering and the Mayor's Office for review and a <br />determination as to whether the lots should be retained for any <br />purpose. <br />BOND APPROVED - UNITED HEATING AND PLUMBING, INC. <br />Ray S. Andrysiak, Bureau of Engineering, reported to the Board that <br />an Excavation Bond submitted by United Plumbing & Heating was in <br />proper form and could be approved. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, <br />seconded by Mr. Mullen and carried, the bond was approved. <br />BOND RELEASED - JAMES KRUSZYNSKI <br />Ray S. Andrysiak, Bureau of Engineering, reported to the Board that <br />he had reviewed the request of the surety .company to release the <br />Contractor's Bond of James Kruszynski. There are no outstanding <br />permits against this contractor and Mr. Andrysiak recommended release <br />of the bond. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Mullen <br />and carried, the bond was released effective November 20, 1978. <br />CLAIMS APPROVED <br />Michael L. Vance, Deputy City Controller, submitted to the Board <br />Claim Docket Numbers 22384 through 22698 and recommended approval. <br />Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon,. seconded by Mr. Brunner and <br />,tarried, the Board approved Claim.Docket Numbers 22384 through 22698 <br />and directed that checks for payment be issued. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT FILED <br />The Street Light Outage Report for the period November 9 to November <br />15 was submitted to the Board. The report indicated fifty -five <br />outages. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Mullen <br />and carried, the report was ordered filed. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, upon <br />motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, the <br />meeting adjourned at 10:30 a.m. <br />AT T T : <br />Patricia DeClercq, Clerk <br />
