254 <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />SEPTEMBER 18, 1978 <br />TOW -AWAY ZONE SIGNAGE APPROVED FOR ANGELA BOULEVARD <br />Ralph J. Wadzinski, Manager of the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, <br />forwarded to the Board the request of the Police Department Traffic <br />Division to install tow -away signage on Angela Boulevard, between <br />Notre Dame Avenue and Eddy Street, -axt.d his recommendation that the <br />request be approved. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded <br />by Mr. Brunner and carried, the request was approved. <br />TEMPORARY ALLEY CLOSING AND TENT APPROVED - MASONIC TEMPLE <br />Ralph J. Wadzinski, Manager of the Bureau of .Traffic and Lighting, <br />advised the Board that he had reviewed the request of the Masonic <br />Temple to erect a tent on their parking lot at the rear of 427 N. <br />Main Street on September 21 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. for a fish fry. <br />Mr. Wadzinski recommended approval. The Fire Inspection Bureau <br />recommended approval subject to an inspection of the tent and <br />filing of a certificate that the tent is flameproof. Upon motion <br />made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, the <br />Board approved the request for the tent and alley closing subject <br />to securing of the necessary permit from the Building Department <br />and to complying with all requirements of the Fire Department and <br />the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting. <br />TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES APPROVED <br />Ralph J. Wadzinski, Manager of the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, <br />recommended installation of the following traffic control devices: <br />A. Install Stop Sign on Dubail at Leer, northeast and southwest <br />corners, at a previously uncontrolled intersection. <br />B. Install Yield Sign on Hampsire at Riding Mall, a previously <br />uncontrolled intersection. <br />C. Install Yield Sign on Chaucer Ct. at Riding Mall, a previously <br />uncontrolled intersection. <br />Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner and <br />carried, the recommendations were approved. <br />BOND RELEASED - LAMBERT PLUMBING AND HEATING COMPANY <br />Ray S. Andrysiak, Bureau of Engineering, reported to the Board that <br />he had reviewed a request for release of the Excavation Bond of <br />Lambert Plumbing and Heating Company. There are no outstanding <br />permits for this contractor and release of the bond was recommended. <br />Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner and <br />carried, the bond was released, effective October 10, 1978. <br />CLAIMS APPROVED <br />Michael L. Vance, Deputy City Controller, submitted to the Board <br />Claim Docket Numbers 17733 through 18258 and recommended approval. <br />Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner and <br />carried, the Board approved Claim Docket Numbers 17733 through <br />18258 and directed that checks for payment be issued. <br />J <br />1 <br />III <br />L <br />
