243 <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />SEPTEMBER 5, 1978 <br />PETITION FOR STREET LIGHT - KENNEDY AND KERRY COURT <br />The Board received a petition signed by seven residents of <br />Kennedy Drive and Kerry Court requesting installation of street <br />lights in the area of Kerry Court and Kennedy Drive. Upon motion <br />made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Mullen and carried, the <br />request was filed and referred to the Bureau of Traffic and <br />Lighting for review and recommendation. <br />6. <br />CLAIMS APPROVED <br />Michael L. Vance, Deputy City Controller, submitted to the Board <br />Claim Docket Numbers 16861 through 17358 and recommended approval. <br />Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Mullen and <br />carried, the Board approved Claim Docket Numbers 16861 through <br />17358. <br />BOND RELEASED <br />Ray S. Andrysiak, Bureau of Engineering, reported to the Board <br />that a request to release Contractor's Bond No. EX 330 -402, <br />written on behalf of Circle Lumber, Inc., was received. Mr. <br />Andrysiak reported there are no outstanding permits against the <br />bond and he recommended release. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, <br />seconded by Mr. Mullen and carried, the bond was released. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT FILED <br />The Street Light Outage Report for the period August 22 through <br />August 28 was submitted to the Board. The report indicated <br />thirty -one outages. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded <br />by Mr. Mullen and carried, the report was ordered filed. <br />REQUEST TO USE CLAY UTILITIES PROPERTY IN CARRIAGE HILLS APPROVED <br />The Board had received a request from residents of the Carriage <br />Hills area to use Clay Utilities property for a neighborhood <br />picnic on September 16. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded <br />by Mr. Mullen and carried, the request was approved. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, upon <br />motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Mullen and carried, <br />the meeting adjourned at 10:10 a.m. <br />In the absence of Patricia DeClercq, Clerk of the Board of Public <br />Works, I, Maryrose Putz, am assuming all responsibility for the <br />Board of Public Works meeting of September 5, 1978. <br />ATTEST: <br />Patricia DeClercq, Clerk �3t� <br />
