126 <br />REGULAR MEETING MAY 22, 1978 <br />BOND APPROVED - MULTI- TRADES CONSTRUCTION COMPANY <br />Ray.S. Andrysiak, Bureau of Engineering, submitted to the Board <br />a Contractor's Bond filed by Multi- Trades Construction Company. <br />Mr. Andrysiak noted that the bond was properly executed and could <br />be approved. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. <br />Mullen and carried, the bond was approved. <br />BOND RELEASED - ABC PLUMBING COMPANY <br />Ray S. Andrysiak, Bureau of Engineering, advised the Board that <br />the Surety Company which wrote the Excavation Bond for A.B.C. <br />Plumbing & Heating Company has now requested release of the bond. <br />The last permit issued under the bond was 12/13/76 and Mr. <br />Andrysiak recommended release of the bond. Upon motion made by <br />Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, the bond was <br />released, effective May 22, 1978. <br />TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES APPROVED <br />Ralph J. Wadzinski, Manager of the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, <br />recommended the following traffic control devices: <br />A. Install Stop Sign on Sheridan at Progress. Remove Stop Sign <br />on Progress at Sheridan. <br />B. Install Stop Sign on Commerce at Progress. Remove Stop Sign <br />on Progress (SE Corner) at Commerce <br />C. Install Stop Sign on Caroline at Southbrook <br />D. Install No Parking 9 AM -6 PM, 300 S. Kentucky (parking area) <br />surrounding driveway to 3121 W. Western. <br />E. Install 25 MPH on Lombardy 1),Meadow.Lane to Sample <br />2), Huron to Western, <br />F. Install No Parking - 30' north and south of lst alley south <br />of Indiana Avenue on the east side of Catalpa. <br />G. Remove Yield Sign on Clearview at Scenic. <br />Uponrmotion made, -by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Mullen and <br />carried, the recommendations were approved. <br />REMOVAL OF TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNS APPROVED <br />Ralph J. Wadzinski, Manager of the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, <br />recommended that, in conjunction with Vacation Resolution No.3454 <br />the following traffic control signs be removed: <br />Prast and Kentucky - Yield - Northwest corner <br />Prast and Iowa - Yield - Northwest corner <br />Prast and Falcon - Yield - Northwest corner <br />Prast and Kenmore - Yield - Northwest corner <br />Ardmore Trail and Kenmore - Yield - Southeast corner <br />Adrmore Trail and Iowa - Yield - Southeast corner <br />Ardmore Trail and Kentucky - Yield - Southeast corner <br />It was also recommended that the signs be removed only when the <br />developer of the shopping center causes the roadway to be removed <br />or blocked. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Mullen <br />and carried, the recommendation was approved. <br />
