76 REGULAR MEETING Indiana Equipment Company 414 W. Coliseum Blvd. Fort Wayne, Indiana APRIL 10, 1978 Bid was signed by Herbert J. Stearns, non - collusion affidavit was in order and a 10% bid bond was s ubmitted. Bid - 1 - Galion Model 5 -8 Ton Tandem Roller - $20,471.00 Harold Medow, Inc. Deputy City Attorney Terry Crone reviewed the bid and advised the Board that the non - collusion affidavit was not signed or notarized and this is a fatal defect in the bid so the bid should be rejected. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, the Board rejected the bid of Harold Medow, Inc. as being defective. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, the bids were referred to the Bureau of Streets for review and recommendation. OPENING OF BIDS - LEAVING OF VEHICLE, BUREAU OF EMPLOYMENT & TRAINING This was the date set for receiving bids for the lease of one vehicle for the Bureau of Employment and Training. The Clerk tendered proofs of publicat -ion of notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri- County News which were found to be sufficient. The following bids were opened and publicly read: Gatesway Leasing Company Bid was signed by Vic Kivisels, South Bend, Indiana non - collusion affidavit was in order and a certified check was submitted. Bid - 1 1978 Monza Wagon - $110.00 per month, $1320.00 per year. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, the bid was referred to the Bureau of Employment and Training for review and recommendation. OPENING OF BIDS - LEASE OF COPIERS This was the date set for receiving bids for the lease of three copiers.
