57 <br />REGULAR MEE'T'ING <br />REQUEST FOR PARADE APPROVED CONDITIONALLY <br />MARCH 20, 1978 <br />The LaSalle High School Booster Club requested permission to <br />hold a parade on Friday, March 31, 1978, beginning at 6:30 p.m. <br />at LaSalle High School and proceeding t'o•- the Notre Dame <br />Athletic and Convocation Center, in connection with the Regional <br />Basketball Tournament. They anticipate participation by 300 <br />cars and submitted a proposed route and an alternate route for <br />consideration. The group has been advised that a Certificate of <br />Insurance is required. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded <br />by Mr. Mullen and carried, the Board approved the parade, subject <br />to coordination of the route by the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting <br />and the Police Department and to the filing of the required <br />Certificate of Insurance. <br />SOLID WASTE SCHEDULE FOR GOOD FRIDAY ANNOUNCED <br />The Board received notification from <br />that, although governmental officers <br />March 24, 1978, the Bureau will make <br />the regular schedule on that day. U <br />McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner and <br />was filed. <br />CLAIMS APPROVED <br />the Bureau of Solid Waste <br />will be closed on Good Friday, <br />collections according to <br />Don motion made by Mr. <br />carried, the notification <br />Michael L. Vance, Deputy City Controller, submitted to the Board <br />Claim Docket Numbers 4250 through 4758 and recommended approval. <br />Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Mullen and <br />carried, the Board approved Claim Docket Numbers 4250 through 4758 <br />and directed that checks for payment be issued. <br />BONDS RELEASED <br />Ray S. Andrysiak, Consultant, Bureau of Engineering, reviewed <br />requests to release Contractor's bonds of Ralph Keller Company <br />d /b /a Tuggy Itow and David L. Fordyce. There are no outstanding <br />claims or permits against either contractor and the recommendation <br />from the Department of Engineering was for release of the bonds. <br />Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, <br />the Board released the bond of Ralph Keller, effective March 20, 1978 <br />and the bond of David Fordyce, effective April 4, 1978. <br />STREET LIGHT.OUTAGE REPORT FILED <br />The Street Light Outage Report for the period of March 8 through <br />14 was submitted to the Board. The report indicated eleven <br />outages.
