REGULAR MEETING NOVEMBER 22, 2010 356 Address: 1216 East Madison Street, South Bend, Indiana 46617 BID: $500.00 Board Attorney Cheryl Greene noted the bid was received by an adjacent property owner who had been notified, along with all other adjacent property owners, that bids were being accepted for the property. Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the above bids were referred to Community and Economic Development for review and recommendation. OPENING OF BIDS — DEMOLITION ENVIRONMENTAL REMEDIATION AND SITE RESTORATION OF 621 SCOTT STREET FORMER MILLENNIUM ENVIRONMENTAL — 110 -078 (CODE NSP FUND) This was the date set for receiving and opening of sealed bids for the above referenced project. The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of Notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri- County News, which were found to be sufficient. Board Attorney Cheryl Greene asked if the project was being funded by Federal funds, and if Davis -Bacon wage rates were required from the bidders. Ms. Ann Kolata, Community and Economic Development, stated that part of the project will be from Federal funds. Mr. Gilot noted the Notice to Bidders stated the project was following State Common Construction wage rates. He stated it needed to be determined if this project should follow Davis -Bacon wage rates. Ms. Kolata stated she would look into it; she was not sure since the entire project was not federally funded.
