Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the <br />above bids were referred to Community and Economic Development for review and <br />recommendation. <br />OPENING OF BIDS — DEMOLITION ENVIRONMENTAL REMEDIATION AND SITE <br />RESTORATION OF 621 SCOTT STREET FORMER MILLENNIUM ENVIRONMENTAL — <br />110 -078 (CODE NSP FUND) <br />This was the date set for receiving and opening of sealed bids for the above referenced project. <br />The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of Notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri- <br />County News, which were found to be sufficient. Board Attorney Cheryl Greene asked if the <br />project was being funded by Federal funds, and if Davis -Bacon wage rates were required from <br />the bidders. Ms. Ann Kolata, Community and Economic Development, stated that part of the <br />project will be from Federal funds. Mr. Gilot noted the Notice to Bidders stated the project was <br />following State Common Construction wage rates. He stated it needed to be determined if this <br />project should follow Davis -Bacon wage rates. Ms. Kolata stated she would look into it; she was <br />not sure since the entire project was not federally funded.
