REGULAR MEETING NOVEMBER 22, 2010 368 <br />PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR <br />Mr. Bill Schalliol, Community and Economic Development, informed the Board that after the <br />opening of the proposals for the Coveleski Stadium Turf, Mr. Dave Rafinski, Wightman and <br />Petrie took the proposals and the turf samples to be sorted. Mr. Rafinski and Mr. Schalliol <br />discovered an additional proposal in one of the unopened boxes. He acknowledged the proposal <br />was received by the 9:30 deadline but that it was in a box under other boxes that were thought to <br />be turf samples, and as a result, was not opened. Mr. Gilot made a motion that the record be <br />corrected and the proposal from Hellas Construction, Inc., 12710 Research Boulevard, Suite 240, <br />Austin, Texas, be included. He noted the box was missed, the proposal met the legal <br />requirements and was timely, and there would be no advantage to Hellas to submit a proposal <br />after the other proposals were opened, since they were not read out loud. Mr. Littrell seconded <br />the motion, which carried. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, <br />seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the meeting adjourned at 10:25 a.m. <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />Gary A.
