Jefferson Litter, trash (county) <br />1819 Kendall Trash (city) <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, <br />the request was approved. <br />APPROVE RELEASE OF CONTRACTOR'S BOND - THOMAS S. BRITTAIN <br />The Board received a request to release the Contractor's Bond for <br />Thomas S. Brittain from Continental Casualty. Mr. Ray S. Andrysiak <br />had reviewed the request for release and advised that the bond <br />could be released. Upon a motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded <br />by Mr. Hill and carried, the Board approved release of the above <br />bond. <br />APPROVAL OF CONTRACTOR AND EXCAVATION BONDS (CARON CONSTRUCTION <br />AND WILLIAMS AND DOMINIAK MECHANICAL. INC.) <br />Approval was requested for a Contractor's Bond in the amount of <br />$1,000 for Caron Construction Company, and an Excavation Bond in <br />the amount of $5,000 for Williams & Dominiak Mechanical, Inc. A <br />recommendation for approval of the bonds was submitted by Raymond <br />S. Andrysiak. Upon a motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. <br />Hill and carried, the bonds were approved. <br />APPROVAL OF CETA SUBGRANT AND MODIFICATIONS <br />Approval was requested from the Bureau of Employment and Training <br />for Modification No. 1 to the agreement with Legal Services of <br />Northern Indiana, Inc. The modification augmented the budget <br />by $998 to cover wage and fringe benefit costs for the two <br />project participants through March 14, 1980. It was noted that <br />all other parts of the agreement remained unchanged. Upon a <br />motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, <br />the modification was approved. Mr. Hill abstained from voting. <br />A second modification to the agreement with Penn - Harris - Madison <br />School Cor oration was submitted which provided an administrative <br />budget of 535 for costs associated with contract administration. <br />It was noted that the $132 administrative budget in the initial <br />agreement is absorbed within the new administrative budget and <br />is invalidated as a separate budget, and it was futher noted <br />that all other parts of the initial agreement and of modification <br />ail remained unchanged. Upon a motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded <br />by Mr. Kernan and carried, the modification was approved. <br />An agreement between the Bureau of Employment and Training and the <br />Indiana Laborers' Training Trust Fund was submitted for approval. <br />The agreement period extends from April 1, 1980, to September 30, <br />1980, with a total budget amount of $45,606. Upon a motion made <br />by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the agreement <br />was approved. <br />APPROVAL OF HANDICAPPED PARKING PERMIT <br />A handicapped parking permit application was submitted to the Board <br />by Mrs. Lucille Hildenbrand, 1902 North Johnson. A doctor's <br />certificate was attached. Upon a motion made by Mr. McMahon, <br />seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the request was approved and <br />referred to the Deputy Controller's Office for issuance. <br />1 <br />
