REGULAR MEETING <br />TABLE CONTRACT WITH FARGO COMPANY - CETA <br />MARCH 24, 1980 <br />ON• <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, <br />the proposed contract between the Bureau of Employment and Training <br />and the Fargo Company was tabled. <br />APPROVAL OF CETA MODIFICATIONS AND SUBGRANT AGREEMENT <br />The Board received Modification No. 4 to the CETA Subgrant Agree- <br />ment with the Housing Authority which corrected an error by <br />changing the subgrant period dates to October 1, 1979, through <br />September 30, 1980; and further corrected a budget title and <br />associated fringe benefits. All other parts of the Initial <br />Agreement and of modifications thereto remained unchanged. Upon <br />a motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, <br />the modification was approved. <br />The Board received Modification No. 3 to the CETA Subgrant Agree- <br />ment with Indiana University which increased the administrative <br />budget by $2,900 for costs associated with public service <br />employment contract administration; and further modified the <br />project by extending the end date through August 15, 1980, and <br />modified the statement of work /training, and provided a project <br />budget extension period which added $2,080 for classroom instruction <br />and $3,460 for rental of training equipment. All other portions <br />remained unchanged. Upon a motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded <br />by Mr. Hill and carried, the modification was approved. <br />The Board received a Subgrant Agreement with Specialized Transporta- <br />tion of St. Joseph County at a cost of $1,867 for a two -month <br />period. Upon a motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Hill <br />and carried, the agreement was approved. <br />APPROVAL OF HANDICAPPED PARKING PERMITS <br />The Board received applications from the following persons for <br />handicapped parking permits: <br />McKinley Gibbs <br />1203 Lincolnway West <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />James Batalis <br />918 North Allen <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Dan Marshall <br />5117 West Linden <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />The above applications were new requests and a doctor's certificate <br />was attached to each. Upon a motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded <br />by Mr. Hill and carried, the applications were approved and <br />referred to the Controller's Office for issuance. <br />FILING OF CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE - TONN &BLANK, INC. <br />The Board received a Certificate of Insruanr_e for Tonn & Blank, <br />Inc. Upon a motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Kernan <br />and carried, the Certificate was filed. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT <br />The report indicated three outages and an undetermined amount <br />of lights in the downtown area, for the period covering March 14, <br />1980, through March 18, 1980. Upon a motion made by Mr. McMahon, <br />seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, the report was filed. <br />
