W <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />MARCH 17. 1980 <br />Mr. McMahon indicated that requests for the purchase of the above <br />city -owned lots had been received by the Board, and the requests <br />had been referred to the various city agencies to determine whether <br />or not the properties should be sold. There had been no objection <br />to the sale of the property by the various city agencies, and <br />the Board was requested to approve a resolution authorizing the <br />sale of the properties. Mr. McMahon indicated that the resolu- <br />tion would be concurred upon by the Council and appraisals taken <br />to determine an offering price. Upon a motion made by Mr. <br />McMahon, seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, the resolution <br />was adopted. <br />APPLICATIONS FOR OPEN AIR STAND TABLED - D.D. PRODUCTIONS <br />At the request of Mr. McMahon, the two applications for open <br />air stand licenses for Dyngus Day by D. D. Productions was <br />tabled to the next Board meeting of March 24, 1980. <br />REQUEST FOR FOOT RACE - MONTESSORI SCHOOL <br />The Board received a request from the Montessori School for <br />permission to hold a foot race on Sunday, May 4, 1980, for the purpose <br />of raising money for scholarships and operating expenses of the <br />school. It was requested that the race begin and end in or near <br />Pinhook Park, starting at 12:15 p.m., and that the restrooms at <br />the Pinhook Pavillion be available for use by the group. Upon a <br />motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, <br />the request was referred to the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, <br />the Traffic Division of the Police Department, and the Park <br />Department for review and recommendation. <br />REQUEST FOR PARADE - HOPE CHAPEL CHURCH OF GOD <br />The Board received a request from the Hope Chapel Church of <br />God for permission to hold a parade on Saturday, June 7, 1980, <br />at 1:00 p.m., on Indiana Avenue, Dayton, Dubail, Randolph, <br />Calvert, Bowman, Donald and Fox Streets. A police escort was <br />also requested. Upon a motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by <br />Mr. Hill and carried, the request was referred.to the Bureau of <br />Traffic and Lighting and the Traffic Division of the Police <br />Department for review and recommendation. <br />REQUEST FOR FIRE DEPARTMENT PARAMEDIC UNIT AT RUM VILLAGE <br />EASTER EGG HUNT - ACHIEVEMENT FORUM <br />The Board received a request from the Achievement Forum for <br />permission to have a Fire Department paramedic unit at Rum <br />Village on Sunday, April 6, 1980, from 1:00 p.m., until the <br />conclusion of its annual Easter Egg Hunt. Upon a motion made <br />by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, the request <br />was approved. <br />APPROVAL OF ESCROW AGREEMENT - SLUTSKY -PELTZ PLUMBING & <br />HEATING (FIRST BANK CENTER) <br />The Board received an Escrow Agreement with Slutsky -Peltz <br />Plumbing and Heating Company, for the First Bank Center Project. <br />The agreement provides that interest will be paid on retainage <br />funds. Upon a motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Hill <br />and carried, the agreement was approved. <br />1 <br />
