Site Selection and Master Facility Plan I Bloomington Hospital I Bloomington, IN <br />Positioning new hospital as <br />regional referral center <br />Bloomington Hospital's new full - service <br />hospital replaces aged and out -dated <br />facilities at the existing hospital. The <br />new hospital and new campus position <br />Bloomington Hospital as the provider of <br />choice in the Bloomington area and as a <br />regional referral center. <br />BSA LifeStructures worked with <br />Bloomington Hospital to create a long - <br />range development plan. The planning <br />process included site selection analysis <br />and a site master plan. BSA LifeStructures <br />is also working on the new facility master <br />plan. The plan takes into consideration <br />Bloomington Hospital's goals for the new <br />campus — creating a culture of outstanding <br />and caring services, encouraging productive <br />relationships with medical staff, developing a <br />network strategy and incorporating the latest <br />technology and clinical and information <br />systems. <br />The development of the new Bloomington <br />Hospital campus is planned to be <br />completed in phases. The first phase is <br />ambulatory care development while the <br />second phase is the development of a new <br />acute care hospital with a parking garage, <br />an administrative office building and a <br />physician office building.
