Feasibility Study, Master Planning and Predesign - Graduation Facility I First Capital Group I Bloomington, IN
r
a
VIA
r 11
 1
p
LON
k
A
Size
50,000 SF (new)
Completion Date
July 2007
Planning facilities to
accommodate growth
After three years, a life sciences
company is ready to graduate from
start -up status to light manufacturing.
As companies grow, they need more
space, more staff and the facilities to
support manufacturing. Monroe County's
Graduation Facility will provide facilities
in an environment that allows new
companies to focus on growth.
The first building on the new life sciences
campus will include 50,000 square feet of
office and manufacturing space. Three
similarly sized future buildings are also
planned, fora total of approximately
160,000 square feet. Flexible building
design allows the facilities to adapt
as occupants change. Shared
administrative and marketing resources
provide economic efficiencies for the
growing companies.
"rte - -s
Pathways connect the campus to nearby
Cook Medical, local retail areas and the
rest of the City of Bloomington.
BSA LifeStructures provided project
stakeholders with a feasibility study,
master planning for the multi - building
campus, construction cost estimates and
preliminary facility design.
