South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting –November 19, 2010 <br /> <br />6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br /> <br />C. Airport Economic Development Area <br /> <br />(6) continued… <br /> <br />plan can building permits be issued and an <br />occupancy permit granted. <br /> <br />Under our relocation policy, this cost would <br />have been included in the original relocation <br />amount. Staff recommends approving the <br />additional cost for architectural services. <br /> <br />Architectural Design Group (ADG), working <br />in conjunction with the Building Department, <br />has submitted a proposal to draw up plans <br />that will meet city specifications, and submit <br />them for approval. The fee for these services <br />is not to exceed $11,500. <br /> <br />Mr. Relos noted that it is possible that the <br />Building Department could additionally <br />require Hell’s Angels to install two <br />bathrooms and do a little cement work. If <br />that is the case staff will be back to ask for <br />additional relocation costs. The total costs <br />should still be within the amount budgeted <br />for this acquisition. <br /> <br />Mr. Alford asked for an estimate of how long <br />it might be before the club could be operating <br />in its new location. Mr. Relos estimated it <br />might be February. <br /> <br />C <br />Upon a motion by Ms. King, seconded by <br />OMMISSION ACCEPTED THE PROPOSAL FROM <br />ADG <br /> FOR THE SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />Mr. Alford and unanimously carried, the <br /> <br />PROPOSED <br />Commission accepted the proposal from <br />ADG for the scope of services and fee <br />proposed. <br /> <br /> <br /> 14 <br /> <br />
