248 <br />REGULAR MEETING NOVEMBER 5, 1979 <br />HANDICAPPED PARKING PERMIT APPROVED <br />Dale Riedel, 1311 S. 33rd Street, submitted an application for <br />a Handicapped Parking Permit along with a doctor's statement. <br />Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner and <br />carried, the.application was approved and referred to the Controller's <br />Office for issuance of the permit. <br />APPROVAL OF CLAIMS <br />Chief Deputy Controller Michael L. Vance submitted to the Board <br />Claim Docket Numbers 21441 through 21833 and recommended approval. <br />Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr, Brunner and <br />carried, the Board approved Claim Docket Numbers 21441 through 21833 <br />and directed that checks for payment be issued. <br />CETA SUBGRANT AGREEMENTS APPROVED <br />Elroy J. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Mullen and <br />carried, the date was reserved for this organization and the <br />request was referred to the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting and the <br />PoliceDepartment for review and recommendation. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT FILED <br />The Street Light Outage report for the period October 24 to <br />October 30 was submitted to the Board. The report indicated <br />twenty -one outages. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by <br />Mr. Mullen and carried, the report was ordered filed. <br />BID AWARDED - MEADE STREET SANITARY SEWERS <br />The Bureau of Design and Administration reported to the Board <br />that the bids received for the construction of the Meade Street <br />Sanitary Sewers had been reviewed and it was recommended that the <br />low bid of Bartolini Excavating Company of $52,148.80 be accepted. <br />Mr. 'Wells noted the bid was in order and a five cent error in <br />extension was corrected reflecting a change in the bid as read at <br />$52,148.75. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. <br />Brunner and carried, the Board approved the recommendation and <br />awarded the bid to the Bartolini Excavating Company in the amount <br />of $52,148.80. <br />1 <br />
