<br />REQUEST TO MOVE PLANT, CONVEYOR AND CATERPILLAR APPROVED
<br />The request of the South Lyon Truck Company to move a plant,
<br />conveyor and caterpillar which are oversize was submitted to the
<br />Board by County Engineer William Richardson. The vehicles will
<br />travel on Cleveland Road west from U. S, 31 to Bendix Drive and
<br />south on Bendix Drive to U.S, 20. Proposed date for the move
<br />is October 24, 25 or 26. They have secured approval of the County
<br />and the Indiana State Highway Department and their insurance is
<br />on file with the state.. They are requesting approval of the.
<br />portion of the route within the City limits.- Upon motion made
<br />by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr, Brunner and carried, the request
<br />was approved subject to notification to the Police Department of the
<br />exact time and date of the move and filing with the City of a
<br />Certificate of Insurance,
<br />HOLIDAY PARADE REQUESTS APPROVED
<br />Michele Dobski, Director of River Bend Plaza, submitted to the
<br />Board the parade route, street closings, parking bans and parade
<br />line -up for the Annual Holiday Parade to be held on Saturday,
<br />November 17 at 9:00 a.m. The route and street closings have been
<br />approved previously. Ms. Dobski requested the use of City Lots #1
<br />and #4, as well as Washington Street, from Lafayette to Taylor,
<br />for bus and vehicle parking.. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon,
<br />seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, the requests were approved.
<br />IN -KIND CONTRIBUTION VOUCHERS FOR A.C.T.I.O.N., INC. APPROVED
<br />A.C.T.I.O.N., Inc. submitted to the Board In -Kind Contribution
<br />Vouchers for leased premises at Old Fire Station #7 and #10.
<br />The vouchers cover the period June, 1979 through September 1979
<br />in the amount of $8,595.76 for Station 10 and $3,372.64 for Station
<br />7. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner and
<br />carried, the In -Kind Vouchers were approved.
<br />ADOPTION OF CITY HOLIDAY LIST FOR 1980
<br />Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Mullen and carried,
<br />the following list of paid holidays for City employess for 1980 was
<br />adopted:

<br />Primary Election - Tuesday, May 6, 1980

<br />HANDICAPPED PARKING PERMIT APPROVED - BETTY CAMPBELL
<br />Betty L. Campbell, 1547 Hickory Road, submitted an application for
<br />a Handicapped Parking Permit. This is a renewal of a permit issued
<br />last year and the doctor's statement is already:on file. Upon motion
<br />made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, the
<br />application was approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's
<br />Office for issuance of the permit.
