SPECIAL MEETING <br />CONTRACT 114 - ELECTRICAL <br />OCTOBER 19, 1979 22 <br />To: Koontz - Wagner Electric Company <br />Bid: $128,500.00 <br />Award: $102,235.00 (Fixtures and Other Miscellaneous Changes) <br />TOTAL AWARD $2,703.891.00 <br />ELEMENTS TO BE PAID BY <br />HOTEL AND BANK 48,800.00 <br />TOTAL NET COST TO CITY <br />THIS AWARD $2,655.091.00 <br />All bids recommended for award reflect the low Base Bid for <br />the specified work, less specific deductions for acceptable <br />alternates as noted. <br />The Board has previously authorized work in the amount of <br />approximately $898,600. This new award of $2,655,091.00 <br />will bring the present contract price to$3,553,691. The <br />total budget for the garage structure is $4,114,900. The <br />balance of the work, namely Landscaping, Site Work, <br />Equipment, Graphics, etc., shall-be bid as they are <br />completely defined by the Architect. <br />Very truly yours, <br />s/ Patrick McMahon, P. E. <br />Director it <br />Mr. McMahon noted items deleted from this bid award will be rebid <br />this fall and bids will.be sought for the atrium and walkways. <br />The Board was advised that the Equal Employment Opportunity Officer <br />has reviewed all bids and has approved contractor eligibility and <br />documents filed, with the notation that J.W. Werntz and Son must <br />execute E.E.O. forms not on file. <br />Mr. McMahon moved that the Board accept the recommendation to make <br />bid awards as noted, subject to final approval of U.D.A.G. funds <br />and to the filing of E.E.O. documents by J. W.
