The <br />Clerk tendered proofs of publication of notice in the South Bend <br />Tribune and the Tri- County News which were found to be sufficient. <br />The following bids were opened and publicly read: <br />Rieth -Riley Construction Company Bid was signed by Richard Ruhlman, <br />South Bend, Indiana non - collusion affidavit was in <br />order and a 5% bid bond was <br />submitted, <br />Bid - $12,319.20 <br />Ziolkowski Construction Company <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Bid - $17,841.80 <br />Bid was signed.by Ben Ziolkowski, <br />non - collusion affidavit was in <br />order and a 5% bid bond was submitted. <br />Murdock & Sons Bid was signed by Calvin Murdock, <br />South Bend, Indiana non- collusion affidavit was in <br />order and a 5% bid bond was submitted. <br />Bid - $11,300.00 <br />Arco Engineering Construction Co. Bid was signed by William Reiff, <br />Mishawaka, Indiana non- collusion affidavit was in <br />order and a 5% bid bond was submitted. <br />Bid - $26,158.00 <br />Mr. McMahon noted that the Department of Redevelopment requested <br />that this project be advertised for bids and the award will be made <br />based on the availability of funds from that department. Upon <br />motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Mullen and carried, <br />the bids were referred to the Department of Redevelopment and the <br />Department of Engineering for review and recommendation. <br />
