REGULAR MEETING AUGUST 20, 1979 <br />HANDICAPPED PARKING PERMITS APPROVED <br />The Board received the following applications for Handicapped <br />Parking Permits: <br />1. Edna M. Boswell., 3409 S. St. Joseph Street, South Bend <br />2. Robert W. Overman, 527 Rockne Drive, South Bend <br />Doctor's statements were attached to both applications. Upon <br />motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Mullen and carried, <br />the applications were approved and referred to the Deputy <br />Controller's Office for issuance of the permits. <br />APPROVAL OF CLAIMS <br />Chief Deputy Controller Michael L. Vance submitted to the Board <br />Claim Docket Numbers 16065 to 16548 and recommended approval. <br />Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Mullen and <br />carried, the Board approved Claim Docket Numbers 16065 to 16548 <br />and directed that checks for payment be issued. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT FILED <br />The Street Light Outage Report for the period August 9 to 15 was <br />submitted to the Board. The report indicated 12 outages. <br />Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Mullen and <br />carried, the report was ordered filed. <br />DATE OF SEPTEMBER 3 MEETING CHANGED <br />Mr. McMahon made a motion that, because of the Labor Day Holiday, <br />the Board meeting of September 3 be changed to Tuesday, September <br />4, 1979 at 9:30 a.m. Mr. Mullen seconded the motion and it carried. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, upon <br />motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, <br />the meeting adjourned at 10:45 a.m. �_ <br />ATTEST: <br />Patricia DeClercq, Clerk <br />175 <br />
