121 <br />REGULAR MEETING JULY 9, 1979 <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT FILEII <br />The Street Light Outage Report for the period July 2 to July 6 <br />was submitted to the Board. The report indicated sixteen <br />outages. Upon motion made by Mr. Mullen, seconded by Mr. Brunner <br />and carried, the report was ordered filed. <br />REQUEST TO ALLOW PARKING ON LINCOLNWAY EAST FILED <br />The Board received a request from Marie Leddy to allow on- street <br />parking on Lincolnway East, from Miami to Twyckenham, on Saturday <br />and Sunday, August 4 and 5 for the 12th Annual Potpourri Art <br />Fair. Mrs. Leddy noted she had received verbal approval from <br />Ralph Chapin of the Indiana State Highway Department. Upon motion <br />made by Mr. Mullen, seconded by Mr, Brunner and carried, the <br />request was referred to the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting and <br />the Police Department for review and recommendation. <br />MEMORANDUM FILED RE: POLICE RADIOS <br />The Board received a memorandum from the Board of Public Safety <br />transmitting a letter from the Fraternal Order of Police which <br />expressed concern regarding a problem occurring with the police <br />radios. The Board of Public Safety expressed its' .concern about this <br />problem and asked the Board of Public Works to investigate the <br />matter. Upon motion made by Mr. Mullen, seconded by Mr. Brunner <br />and carried, the matter was referred to Chief Borkowski, Michael <br />Carrington, Administrative Assistant to Mayor Nemeth, Glenn <br />Zubler, Director of Communications, and Deputy City Attorney Terry <br />Crone for review and report. <br />VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3472 TO BE DISCUSSED AT NEXT MEETING <br />Correspondence from John Peddycord, Attorney for the petitioners <br />for Vacation Resolution No. 3472, was noted.
