Upon <br />motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, <br />the Board approved the Open Air Stand License at Olive and <br />Sample for one month and will consider extensions of the license <br />if additional documentation of the rental of the property at <br />529 E. LaSalle is presented to the Board. <br />STREET LIGHT INSTALLATION APPROVED <br />Joseph J. Pluta, Assistant Manager of the Bureau of Traffic and <br />Lighting, submitted to the Board the following recommendation for <br />street light installations: <br />A. On Huron, between Pulaski and Kosciuszko, 7,000L ZTV OH $4.80 /mo. <br />B. On Orange, between Sadie and Huey, 7,000L MV OH $4.80 /mo. <br />Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner and <br />carried, the recommendations were approved, <br />MICHIANA BI -RUN APPROVED <br />The Bureau of Traffic and Lighting reported to the Board that <br />the request of the American Lung Association to hold a Michiana <br />Bi -Run on June 9 had been reviewed with Captain Sweitzer of the <br />Police Department Traffic Detail. The event is to begin at 8:00 <br />a.m, in the Century Center Parking Lot, proceed down St. Joseph <br />Street to LaSalle, west on LaSalle to Lafayette, North on <br />Lafayette to Riverside Drive and Riverside Drive to Pinhook Park, <br />the turn around point. The return route is the same back to <br />LaSalle, then to the Plaza, down the Plaza to Western Avenue, <br />back down the Plaza to Jefferson, east on Jefferson to end at <br />the Century Center Parking Lot. The route has been approved and <br />it was suggested that traffic control arrangements be coordinated <br />with Captain Sweitzer. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded <br />by Mr. Mullen and carried, the event was approved, subject to <br />the filing of the necessary Certificate of Insurance. <br />BOND RELEASED <br />Ray S. Andrysiak, Bureau of Engineering, reported to the Board <br />that a request to release the Excavation Bond of Del Emmans, <br />d /b /a Del's Plumbing Service, had been reviewed. There are no <br />outstanding claims or permits against this contractor and release <br />was recommended. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by <br />Mr. Mullen and carried, the bond was released effective this date. <br />CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE FILED <br />A Certificate of Insurance written on behalf of City Awning <br />Company was submitted to the Board. Upon.motion made by Mr. <br />McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, the certificate was <br />ordered filed. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT FILED <br />The Street Light Outage Report for the period March 16 through <br />21 was submitted to the Board. The report indicated twelve outages. <br />Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Mullen and <br />carried, the report was approved. <br />I <br />I <br />
