'FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />Fire Chief Andrzejewski appeared before the Board and matters pertaining to his <br />Department were discussed. <br />The Clerk of the Board was ordered to advertise for 1 truck, 2 4 -door sedans, <br />and hose for the Fire Department according to the specifications in the directive <br />submitted to the Board by Chief Andrzejewski. <br />ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT <br />Ira Hunsberger, Superintendent of the Electrical Department appeared before the <br />Board and matters pertaining to his department were discussed. <br />Ira Hunsberger recommends that a 4000 lumen light be installed at the following <br />locations: Marshall & 33rd Streets, 120 South 33rd Street, 730 North Cleveland Avenue, <br />Midway in the 2000 and 2100 blocks of Portage Avenue and at Indiana Avenue and Arnold <br />Street. Also 2 4000 lumen lights on Dale Street between Indiana Avenue and Broadway <br />Street. Board now approves Ira Hunsberger's recommendation. It is also the recommenda- <br />tion of the Electrical Superintendent that the lights at the following locations be in- <br />creased from 1000 lumen to 4000 lumen: 23rd, 25th, 27th, 29th, 31st, 33rd, and 34th, all <br />at the Grand Trunk railroad tracks, three lights each on Ohio, Keasey, Elder and Paris <br />Streets between Michigan and Carroll Streets and on Arnold Street between Indiana Avenue <br />and PraftEeStreet. <br />The application of the retirement of Ira Hunsberger, Superintendent of the Elec- <br />trical Department, was accepted and approved by the Board.
